I haven't wrote on my blog for some time now. Forgive me. I have been making arrangements for some pretty big moves in 2012...........stay tuned. So, as most of you know I am a makeup artist too. I figured I'd let you know what I have been doing with makeup looks for my clients this season. This season I have chose to use Zuzu Luxe Cosmetics. It's a mineral based line that I have truly fell in love with. There products are not tested on animals, and more importantly I said it's fabulous. The eye shadows a sheer, lipsticks & glosses are long lasting. Diva's, you know we hate having to re-apply our lips every 5 minutes. I will give you a synopsis based on skin tone what colors may work best. EVERYBODY WILL HAVE A RED LIP........IT'S NO LONGER TABU! YES MY AFRICAN- AMERICAN SISTERS TOO! So with that said, I have chosen 5 different eye shadows, 2 lip liners, 2 pencil eyeliners, 2 liquid eyeliners, 3 blushes, 1 lipstick, and 1 lip gloss. I will be choosing one of these looks for myself, I will post it on New Years. I hope that you guys will check out the Zuzu Luxe Cosmetics line, and send me some pics of your looks.
EYESHADOW:
The shimmer is soft and suttle, you can control how light or dark you want it to be. I recommend using a lighter color to the brow bone.
BLUSH: Apply lightly and build it if need be.
EYELINER & LIQUID LINER: FULLER EYES: Apply a semi-thick. SMALLER EYES: Apply lightly (THIN), on SMALLER EYES if you apply too thick, you will be shutting your eye (Raccoon Eyes) NOT SEXY!
LIPS: Apply a balm first. Pink undertones on lips can eliminated by apply nude/lt. brown lipstick. Once this is done proceed by applying the Starlet lipstick or the Caliente lipgloss.
