Soothing Methods For Relaxation

Our lives tend to get a little crazy. I know mine does. As mothers, fathers, and professionals, sometimes putting your self first isn't an option. Or in most cases we don't find time. I have found a few remedies that work for me, and don't take up a lot of time. These remedies are great for a busy and/or stressful day or week. They can be done before bed, or when you are able to get a day off.

Remedy #1.

Neuma

reNeu Shampoo

Cleanse * Refresh

Sulfate-free, color-extending formula with UV Guard™ gently cleanses all hair types leaving hair feeling fresh and more manageable.

Removes product build-up and any minerals left by hard water. Strengthens hair while it detangles and smoothes flyaways.

Neuma

reNeu Condition

Smooth * Detangle

Lightweight conditioner detangles and nourishes hair. Balances moisture while it helps protects and control frizz and flyaways.

Strengthening ingredients enhance hair condition without build-up  to deliver healthier, more alive hair.  Color-extending formula with UV Guard™ adds strength and lasting shine.

The minty smell, and the tingling you feel on your scalp is soothing. This is step 1 in your relaxation mode. Once the conditioner is done, pin your hair up, and move on to remedy #2.

Remedy #2.

Milk & Roses Bath

This method works, no matter what your completion or skin type is. Milk naturally softens the skin. Milk also contains gentle acids, that encourage skin regeneration.

Roses have played a major part in beauty since the beginning of time. Roses are beautifying with both emollient and rejuvenating qualities.

Milk & Rose Bath Reciepe:

1 cup of Powdered Milk

1 cup of Dried Rose Petals

A few drops of Rose Essential Oil

In a small bowl mix all ingredients. Then prepare a warm bath, pour mixture into the water. My suggestion is the turn on some music. For me classical jazz works. I become one with my thoughts, and can attempt to start letting go of my stresses. I hope this works for you as well.

Remedy #3

Relaxing Tea

Yes, you may drink it in your bath or following you bath. Nothing compliments the word relaxation, like a cup of tea. Tea is a cure for many things in different cultures. Many people also use tea to treat symptoms. I have tried Chopra Center's "Relaxing Tea." It is by far my favorite.

I hope that you find time to try a few of my remedies. I welcome you all to send me some of yours. Remember to take time for self. YOU DESERVE IT!!!

Lipgloss &  Hairspray!!!!
